Humble Hearts Haven-Pa
A woman named "Susan" started this rescue after being associated with another rescue that shut down. She takes in only one or two hard luck cases at a time. She is located in Pa. I have been unable to find a website for her, perhaps she doesn't have one. I have heard nothing but good things about this woman and her facility.

The folks at White Bird Appaloosa Rescue recently brought your blog to my attention - what a nice surprise!!
Just wanted to thank you, whoever you are!, for the kind words. It seems in the realm of rescue it is mostly bad news we hear on a regular basis - so it is so nice to see someone passing on some good stuff.
I can't say enough good things about Jorg & Tom, & the other folks at White Bird; any horse winding up there is one of the truly lucky ones.
As for me, I continue to rescue on my own ( as well as working with several other reputable rescues in my area)as money & room allow; I feel blessed each day that I still have the ability to do so, even though it is on a limited basis.
Thanks again for this, & for all you do in the world of rescue.
